Bedford Hospital NHS Trust – Shefford

The development of this specialist medical facility did not stay stay static as part way through actual development, it was decided that Bedford Hospital and the Primary Care Trust would retain ownership of the lease upon completion.  This decision had a significant impact upon the development as a partial internal layout redesign was now required to meet the needs of the PCT.  In addition the new centre would now need to comply with hospital standards and regulations, and as such a number of
alterations were made.
