jhai ltd operates an industrial Waste and Recycling Policy in each of its regional and satellite offices.
Our main aims are:
Not to allow waste to accumulate but regularly move it to properly marked and suitable containers.
Ensure compliance with the Duty of Care imposed by the Environmental Protection Act 1990, and all relevant waste regulations.
Report any problems regarding waste or waste disposal immediately to a responsible person.
Electronic Waste is correctly and safely disposed of in-line with WEEE Legislation or re-used/donated or repaired.
Toner and print cartridges are recycled or donated.
Cardboard is recycled.
Office paper is recycled.
Recycling is compartmentalised including food waste/plastic/glass/paper etc.
